I have used Stamps.com for a long time and have been very happy. When I went to use the program it wouldn't give me access and said my postage was not available. I wrote to them twice and still have not heard from them and I have postage tied up there. I have no clue about why this is happening.
I posted on this board and Vargas provided me with a phone number. They don't answer the phone. A recording tells one to email them but no one answers the emails.
What can I do and is there some other program I can sign up with? I NEED to be able to print my postage!!!! Thanks for your help.

As stated in the other thread, everything seems to have worked for me. But......I can't get anyone to talk to me either. I have not gotten any satisfaction on the postage scale that I am supposed to get. No email or anything. I am starting to get frustrated.
I will not be buying any more postage until I have that postage scale in my hands! I will also cancel before my 29 days are up, if I don't recieve it.

Sorry to hear of the problems! I, too, use stamps.com and have been less than thrilled with their "customer service". Just an aside about that postal scale. You aren't missing much! They are terrible! My first one never worked at all. They finally replaced it and I decided to sell the 2nd one, which I THOUGHT worked. It didn't. Had to write several emails to finally get a response and they sent a third one! By then I had replaced the one for my customer with a different, and more reliable, product.
Good luck to everyone! shark

I didn't automatically receive my scale either… I had to email customer service first.
I agree with sharkbaby, the scale is not very accurate. I can put a package on it three times and get three different results. If all of the scales are this way you aren’t missing much…

Gosh! Not very encouaging on the scale part is it? Offering as an incentive, then the customer waiting forever to get it...then only after begging for it...then it doesn't even work right???
Oh phew!.

Try clickstamponline....I've been using them for several months with no problems. They are much cheaper than stamps.com @ $1.49 per month(for unlimited postage).

Hi Anais,
Welcome to the club of the "ignored by stamps.com" (((grin)))
You might also post to the other thread. There is a fellow from stamps.com that is watching it. If we keep bumping these threads to the top of unhappy customers maybe..just maybe......we may get an answer from them.

I also don't like the customer service of stamps.com, they charged me three months after I cancelled and tried to tell me that I did not cancel.

Thanks you guys. Doesn't look like Stamps is doing too good in the Customer Service Department. I don't sign on with companies that don't provide live CS. I'm going to look at click and will sign on with them. And since no one has helped me at Stamps I will prusue my complaints through various customer complaint agencies. I can't afford to lose the money I have sitting in there.
Thanlks again for your responses and help.

BIG TROUBLES with Stamps.com here too!
I tried to open an account back in January. At that time, the stamps.com system came back as stating something to the effect of "not being able to verify account/information & try again later." I thought that the account was never opened because I never received an email stating that the account was opened. Therefore, I never used the "unopened" account.
Sure enough ... I get charged $15.99 for something I never used. THIRTEEN DAYS after I email stamps.com, their response was, "Unfortunately, based on research, no charges were made to your credit
card since your account did not process completely."
WTF!?!! Needless to say I am disputing this charge with my credit card company.

I'm going to try to do a charge back also. I will talk to my bank tomorrow. I am going to sign up with someone else tomorrow. I got another canned response today. Disgusting. I may be unhappy and disgruntled but I will file a report with everyone I can report to.
Good luck heatfries.

I went and looked at Clickstamp. Does anyone know if they have live customer service?

heatfries,,
Be sure to post over on the other thread "stamps.com question".
There is a fella, Joe Kaminski, from stamps.com who is reading this thread and posted and he says he is checking into some of the problems...........we shall see if what comes of it? (((grin)) and if they take care of all their unhappy customers.

anais......I've called their 800# several times and have always gotten a live person within a few minutes. The one draw back to clickstamponline is it has to verify the address or it will not let you print the postage. I usually have 1 out of 15 that won't verify---I guess thats not to bad.
