We are expecting quite a bit of snow here (and it's already falling) in PA so if you are anticipating items to be mailed in the next day or two there *may* be a slight delay depending on where the seller is located and how much snow they are hit with. My daughter and I just did a quick grocery store run, along with about 400 other people in our town, in case things get like they are suggesting they will. If I can get to the post office (which is less than a mile from me) tomorrow I will but not everyone may be able to so please have patience!
I can't wait for SPRING! Please let it hurry!!!

I'm sure the people in the non snowridden lands probably wonder sometimes how it can be hard to get a simple packaged mailed out in the snow...
My PO isn't that far from me so unless it's closed down I can still probably make it

Also as a seller don't expect quick payment from east coast buyers. I just got an email from a buyer in New York. He stated payment would be sent as soon as the storm was over. I told him I understood.

Hi there!
I too am in PA. I have been writing notices to those who expected packages to ship out Monday that there may be a delay due to the weather, as we are expected to get around 20 inches by Tuesday. I have already received two replies--these folks are very understanding and sweet. I just ordered some flower bulbs today to get me in the Spring spirit! I love the snow, but I am soooo ready for Spring this year! This winter has seemed quite long, and we have had snow fairly consistetly on the ground with just a few days of ground showing since Dec. 22!

We live on the edge of the Allegheny National Forest...near Kinzua Dam....It is absolutely gorgeous here right now in the woods, our driveway is a quarter mile long and already snowed up quite heavily....visibility is not far but wow, its beautiful. We don't even get mail delivery to the house, have a PO Box so if anything is there, it will have to wait... ....My nephew is doing the happy happy snow dance also, he was due to go with the recruiter for boot camp....LOL....he is praying for 30 inches.....aarrrggghhh.

Thanks for mentioning this. Its hard to remember that not everyone lives in the same environment that I do. We're wearing shorts and TShirts getting a sun burn here in N.O. today.

I live 50 miles south of N.Y. border. I will also let my customers know. A lot have paid with PayPal. I have not run across 1 pain in the neck this LONG winter. Most of them are great. I think people from the Southwest have visions of 3 or 4 foot drifts! And we may get that yet! Pretty nasty here already.
Yes, the stores were mobbed. But had to get my Pepsi......

Wow its amazing to find neighbors. I live near hollidaysburg (home of the slinky). I woke up today to snow, and the robins are back so spring is very near. We are supposed to have 9-18 inches by the storms end. And just to think the other week it was in the 60's. Gotta love the wacky pennsylvania weather!

I will bet the snowmobilers are having a ball....I sure miss those things...hasn't been enuff snow lately to justify one.....sigh......

Hi,
I am in NJ, just 15 mins from the walt wittman bridge, we are getting pounded with snow on and off, I am not sure what we are going to get at first they said 2 to 3 feet, now they really do not know what we are going to get, the shore is getting rain right now.
The kids are hoping school will be closed.
And I am hoping I can make it to post office in the morning, so far, we have about 1 inch of snow, and this is suppose to last until sometime Tuesday. I only have 3 boxes to mail out, for people whom waited for ever to mail me the payments, so maybe they will understand if I can not get to the post office?
I really really want Hubby to make it to work tomorrow.. and then maybe get snowed in somewhere
Have a great day

I live on the north shore of Long Island, towards the city. They are predicting anywhere from 12" up to 36" depending on which station you listen to. NOTHING left in any of the stores.
Actually looking forward to getting one more good snow and a snow day or two for the kids, however, I have to say that quietly so my husband doesn't hear - he'll be plowing for days. Rec'd a few payments yesterday after po closed and people were very understanding about when I'd get them out.
On LI you have to be really careful because we have soooo many a**** who don't know how to drive in the snow but have the huge SUV's so think they do.

Took my dogs out for a walk here in good ol' Canada-eh and when I stepped off the trail I was over my knees in the wrteched stuff. If anyone would like some included in the envelope with your egg please let me know and I will include it at no extra charge!

From that photo, it looks like snow in PA is Blue.
The last time it snowed here - 1949 - the stuff was white.
Cheers, Jim.

Our local newspapers had photos of people crowding Home Depot to buy 2 and 3 shovels. I wanted to say to them, yo! What have you been doing all winter? Did you simply ignore all the other snow we had? And the supermarkets have been mobbed - as if we might get snowed under for a week! That's why I stock up on canned goods early in the season!
