A while back, about six months ago, there was a thread that advised on the revision of auctions. At that time if an auction was revised, text search did not work. I tested it and found that it was true. Now, has eBay fixed that problem?

I have recently joined everyone's best friend Paypal, and they want my eBay password in order to hang a logo on my auctions. Is that a revision and will it stop text search.

Thanks for your input.

There is a distinction between what Paypal does and revised auctions. Paypal "adds text" to your description. This can be done whether you have bidders or not.

Full auction revisions are only possible when there are no bids on your item.
