We had one available through our ISP all along but never took advantage of it 'til now.

Just a little while ago we uploaded our first photos on it and I just listed our first auction with the photos from there.

I can tell it's going to take some time to get up to speed on this. I listed it through "Sell", the one on any ebay page. I can barely do simple HTML and I don't know a thing about templates. Not even sure what a template is to tell the truth.

It's like starting all over again.

Loosecannon,
Shoot me an email. It's been a long time.

I'm not surfing or fishing. Most of the time I'm lurking.

Hi there,

The Bare Bones to HTML is where I learned everything I know about HTML. I still refer to it occasionally.

Here's another site that might help you with HTML

Congrats on the web page! I downloaded Ebay's loading program and plan to combine it with another site's scheduling bot. But - I found a great "copy and paste html page for Ebay" posted by a most helpful person and it looks like it will be easy to do almost anything and set up your own "template", i.e. standard look for your auction with the repetative stuff already there. If you're interested you can email me and I'll point you in that direction. I don't mind "starting over", but if somebody has done a lot of the work already...I'm game to try it. I've done the "sell" form with my images on my isp too, and may again as well, but I still plan to use the html tools for a more professional look. Have fun!

Go to www.netscape.com and download Netscape Communicator. Netscape Composer is part of the suite. Composer is almost as easy to use as a word processor. You can create your own professional-looking templates, no HTML required. It's make your life on ebay SOOO much easier... and no, I don't work for Netscape. As a matter of fact I rarely use Navigator. But Composer is GREAT!

jlwellling,
I would love the "cut and paste" page you're talking about. If you can email to me at [email protected] I would appreciate it. I can't figure out how to email you through AW.
Thanks

For those who asked, I emailed it to you this a.m. I wasn't sure I could post it here but it appears to be ok. I take NO credit for this site, but the person who posted it is really helpful and it's a really nice site.

You have to go in via this URL, then go down to the bottom of the page where the Tutorials link can be found.

I don't see any kind of Tutorial link on that page, just flashing stuff. Which link is it?

Hi Meya,

Down near the bottom of the page, you should see a drop box that says "My Tutorials" in it.
Just click the little box next to it & you'll be taken to the Tutorial page. It's right next to the large RED font ME PAGE.

Ok, I see it now. The page wasn't loading all the way for some reason. I think I need to reboot my system.

Not gonna pay AW.

Heh, I recently got my own page also, www.bluee.net

I haven't begun working on it yet (you will see the f4tc0w advertising), but it will be one heck of a multi-purpose site.

Certainly worth my 99 bucks/year, yup.

You'll need some sort of FTP program to upload your pictures. WS_FTP works very well. Here is one place you can get it:
