So, in the last minute of one of my auctions, a bidder used buy it now (I don't know why they didn't just bid)and on the auction. So, when retrieving his email address, I realized that he had -1 feedback. OH GREAT!! So, I look at it and it says "Fraud alert!! Escrow agent (tradenable) says this guy is a known con artist". I play it cool and send teh usual winner email. He immediately send an email with all this cret card info including number and exp. date to me and asks where to pay. I head him over towards bidpay. He then send fake bidpay notices of confirmation then approval. Right away, I knew he was a fake, because he sent $642 on one money order. I emailed him saying "nice try" do you really want the camera? He replies that he "called bidpay and worked it out". Right... The real problem is that he leaves negative feedback for those who don't deal with him. Ebay does not have a place for me to file a fraud report as a seller, and bidpay has no competant service that i could find. What should I do??

The first thing I would do is report him to BidPay and supply them with the credit card info and ask if he has had any contact with them. He is probably using a stolen credit card and is using their name to try to use it. Let them go after him. Is he international?

I agree with jrodgers... do you still have the fake confirmation emails? Send them with full headers along with the credit card info straight to Bidpay.

Go after him, wring your coin out of him, then toss him in a dumpster.
