Today I saw that buy it now auctions with reserves say the following "Buy It Now for $650.00 This option disappears once the reserve price is met." The only problem is that the auction had no buy it now logo in the auction listings. Was this a mistake, or do all auction that have numerous bids / reserve not met / but still as buy it now lose the logo?

eBay has recently announced that the BUY IT NOW optoin will remain in effect for auctions with a reserve where the reserve has not yet been met.
It is my understanding that the roll out of this is suppose to be rather swift but still... over the course of a day or so (if it's not already complete)... so I guess it's possible that you would see some Reserve Auctions with Buy It Now "behaving" differently... but eventually, I believe that you are right... the BIN LOGO might be dropped in the event of the first bid... but the option to purchase at the Buy It Now price will remain until the RESERVE is MET.
