I had an an auction end with no bids.Person contacts me and wants to buy the item because her PC locked up just when the auction was ending. My question is isn't this against e-Bays rules?I have read the rules and I think I am right. She says that it isn't against the rules that once the auction ends a seller can do whatever they want. My suggestion was that I relist BIN .Thanks and a Happy Weekend to all Sue>>

eBay has recently changed their standing on selling "outside" the auction...EVEN when it has been completed...if it were me, I would do a "double check" on this buyer, because there have been some stories (true or not) on these boards of eBay "narcs" using these same tactics to trap sellers for TOS violations....
If you think all is on the up and up, just make sure payment is TOTALLY cleared, whether CC, Check or MO, and then wait a couple of extra days before shipping.
As stated above, if this deal goes south, you have NO recourse thru eBay...and that includes Neg's...
