I just won an auction and did a happy dance because I won it for a bunch less than my maximum bid. Shipping was stated in the auction, and the seller has good feedback.
So how did this seller make my happy dance a little less happy?
He wants $2 for insurance (winning bid was less than $50). You know, it's not the money, it's the danged cheesiness of the whole thing.
It's exactly the kind of thing that makes buyers think many sellers are sneaky. As a seller, I resent the poop out of this.

I'm happy you got a good deal on the item!
Did you email the seller asking why they were charging you so much for the insurance when the post office only charges $1.10?
Was there anything in the auction saying there is a Handling Fee?
If they are asking $2.00 specifically for ins. I would let them know how you feel. Best Wishes!
