03/11 19:02 is the last thing that shows up in my search ... that's over 30 hours behind in the description indexing.

It's been getting worse and worse for months now. I still say they are getting ready to completely eliminate description search. This happened exactly the same way when we could search description in completed auctions.

If they eliminate description search, they eliminate my ability to find what I collect ... I will not spend the time it takes to browse the listings of several categories and guess what's behind the titles.
As it is, I usually have 5 pages of dreck for every listing I'm interested in.
BUT THEY ADDED A NEW FEATURE! They now make it possible for the seller to put a picture in the TITLEBAR of an auction ... which should crash a few browsers. Their example doesn't make it past my firewall.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/pictureservicesFAQ.html#2 has details. Nowhere do they say nything about the QUALITY of the pictures, which is crappy at best.
