Basically its always been the case with hotmail..that if you don't check the optout button when you sign up, they will ad you to the public listing at Infospace....nothing new...just make sure you OPT-OUT.

It's STALE news.
1. LIE when you fill out profile for free web sites. I use a fake name and the address of a vacant lot. And I'm a 27 year old male on several sites
2. Make sure you CHECK THE SIGNUP PAGE carefully and do not join any member directories ... that's how the hotmail stuff is leaking out. And with your REAL name and REAL address or city, you can be found.
