I gave my QV-11 camera to my uncle who is 83 and going to try and sell on Ebay. (I love that guy!) The software will not allow a reinstall and I cannot find a way to get it working for him. Does anyone know what to do? I assume Casio has a protective device on it so you cannot copy it but without it,.. the camera is useless.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Is he using the orginal cd or disks that came with the camera? What exactly happens when he tries to install the software? What version of Windows etc is he using, and does it support this software?

My QV770 came with a CD that contained 3 separate photo software titles, QVlink was just one of them. Try the CD to see if you have more software on there as well. PictureMall & Ixla were the other two on mine.
