Greetings all!
I tried to verify myself on E-Pain this fine evening so that I can list dutch auctions and according to Equifax I'm not me. Has anyone failed thier little quiz and gone through the whole-fax-over-forms-of-id-and-provide-even-more-personal-info-than-what-they-asked-you-in-the-first-place?
I'm also not so sure that this little quiz of theirs is going to curb fraud and goodness knows its a pain for us casual sellers.

Yep, that happened to me. They said I wasn't me, too. I gave up trying to get varified, since I didn't want to go through the hassle of faxing all the junk they wanted.
They ask for all kinds of info, and if my memory is correct, they even asked for the ebay user's listed phone number, which I put down. Only problem is, my phone is not listed with the phone company under my name.
Also, sometimes equifax and other companies for whatever reason don't have updated files of addresses, and if you have moved and put the new address down, and they have the old, it will deny it. Saying your not you.
I know my credit is good, because my bank automatically increased two of my credit cards by $5,000 each! I didn't need this, so I called and had them put my old limits back on.
If you haven't checked your credit report in awhile you might want to, to make sure there isn't any funny transactions that you didn't do.

Thanks, nice to know I'm not alone.
They asked me a question about one of my many many many student loans and wanted to know how much the monthly rate is. Because I'm still in school all of my loans are in deferrment and therefore I have no real reason to know what one loan would cost me monthly.
I too was a little put off by everything they wanted faxed over. It's easier to get a passport from the government!
