3-22-01 4:40 PM EST - tried to view seller's "other auctions", while the page came up, any ongoing auction clicked yeilded the "no longer in data base" error. Tried it on several other seller auction pages with same result.

For those sellers that had more than one page of autions, when I tried to look at the other pages, I was asked for my user name and password. More anti-spam percautions ?

Has this happened to anyone else ?

Yes, and the url the request came from was

http://cgi3.ebay.qa.com/

I don't think this is an ebay url, who is qa.com? I tried to hit this page, and get "The page cannot be displayed".

Some hacker trying to get passwords? (they didn't get mine.)
