Buyer wins auction, I send out email with total including regular Postage rate, Buyer emails back with a question asking what online payments I take, I email back paypal and bidpay. I soon receive a notice from Bidpay that my money is on it's way and the address in in a South American country! LOL!I email the customer back and asked why he didn't tell me his address, and the email gave no hint of a foreign country.I tell him that I can not possibly ship to his country for less than a dollar! He emails back and wants to know if he can pay the difference when the package arrives! Again LOL! How does that work? Some mail carrier in the Andes collects the difference and sends it back to me? I'm not gonna even bother and just bloww off the difference, I just thought it was quite humorous!

If you're willing to take the loss and blow off the difference anyway, you should ask him to mail you the difference. Tell him that you won't hold up mailing his package while you wait. You'll trust him. You may be pleasantly surprised at his honesty. I've had nothing but great experiences from my few foreign buyers. One even paid in cash, sent about $10.00 too much and told me to keep the extra.
