This concerns ebay as it it the only venue I use. Ok, I use IE and Outlook Express. I have arthritic thumbs (painful). Need to use 3 different messages to my high bidders. How do I write these messages offline, substituting their name/item/postage, and send them as painlessly as possible. They always come up as "attachments". Help pls as the thumbs are used to hit the space bars. Of course, I could learn to type with 2 fingers, but that is s l o w!
Thank you. Owwww!

glassperson - I am not sure how to do it but I know that in windows you can change your keyboards settings. It may be possibe to make one of your other keys or a combination of keys such as you use for special characters do the same thing as your space bar so you can use your fingers.
I type with my thumb and first two fingers because my outer two are so arthritic.

Look for an option within your e-mail that will allow you to "Edit message as new." In my e-mail, it's under "Message" at the top of the page. Just save one copy of each of your three e-mails, then bring up the one you want to send, edit as new, and change just the relevant information. I always have the auction page open in a second browser so I can copy and paste the auction name, number, final bid, etc. It beats typing it all in, and for me, more accurate

I don't use these (I use eBud), but can you write the form letters and save them as "stationery", with the blanks for the variable info? Or write them and save AS a text file (use NOTEPAD, now WORD), then import or "insert as file" into the body of your email.
And check your settings. Outlook has a "send as body" or "send as attachment" choice for documents.
