It is important NOT to read too much into these numbers. They are based on an eBay
text search. Just to give an idea of the accuraccy of eBay's search, the sum by incremements was 369452 on March 24, but just a few seconds afterwards a search for AuctionWatch.com
using the $0.01>$1000000.00 price range gave a result of 432906 auctions found. A difference of 63454. On march 13, this same search returned the message "too many".
The actual numbers can not be compared using this same method. The question is, which of the two result is accurate, if any?
Still, I think a conclusion can be reached from this. AW appears to have lost customers, but retained the vast majority of them. It's competition
appears to have failed to gain a major market share at AW's expense.
On a side note, I can still upload pics on AW and I haven't chosen any plan. Is this normal? Can everyone do it also?

I don't have the time, OR the inclination, to do it, but to be in accordance with previous posts of this nature, the dollar amounts will need to be broken down for those auctions posted with AW in the "word search"...
It "seems" obvious that the AW listings have dropped, but if the search engine cannot handle the # of items returned, it leaves things in a nebulous state.

All in all not a bad drop and AW is now getting paid for doing a good job. Here here for AW. I don't list with them anymore simply because for me with all the extra web space I have it doesn't make good business sense but I wish them much success and it looks to me that they will have it. Now when I need to schedule I will be listing with AW.
Looking at the whole picture. What drop off they had most of that will be recovered within a year-or two as new people come in etc. . .

Well...I'm helping skew the numbers in a small way. I no longer use AW due to the $...but although I put some pics on my ISP - I did try Auctionworks for some free pic hosting, and have the free Auctiva showcase box in my ad, and have a couple of different counters I'm trying out!
