I gave some of your comments a lot of thought, about the issue of low initial pricing, and I've been playing around a bit. So far I've had at least two new auctions that have bids with higher opening minimums than I normally use.
The best one is a paperback that I describe as being in poor cosmetic condition, but it's OP and collectible for those who like the author. The last PB copy sold for $1.75 under the Paperback category, but I didn't want mine to go for that, so I went ahead and listed for $9...and it got a bid! Awesome!
