Greetings....I have not listed for a while, and just relisted one item, to test something. In looking at my "About Me" page, I notice that the listing and feedbacks are no longer showing.
Was there a change made by Ebay? Or do the listings and feedback show on the About Me only when the listed items have been gathered by the Search Engine?
Also, I use a Personal Gallery link....When I clicked on it today, this is what I got:

My feedback is showing plus something I have never noticed before. After the feedback, my active auctions are also listed.
I admit that I don't visit my ME page very often, but I don't remember that being there the last time I looked.

Thanks.... On my page , I don't even see the WORD "Feedback"., which should be in green, under the yellow word LISTINGS...It's just pooof! gone !!!!!

Perhaps the main pages have been revised. I know when you created a ME page you must choose a template.
Go back to create like you are creating a new one and see what it says.

I hate to start all over, cuz I don't remember how I tweaked the first one....it's been so long! I changed their template quite a bit! I'll just wait till tonight, when my relist SHOULD show...I hope! Maybe all will be back to normal. It used to be that, even with NO current listings, you could still see all your feedback....
As to the Personal Gallery, I would not be surprized if they did away with it...It will re-appear eventually, with a huge fee attached to it... That must be why they now forbid the use of ANY Personal Gallery from outside of Ebay.....

Ebay now forbids the use of a Personal Gallery outside of ebay? I guess I missed that. What do they do if they notice it or if it is reported? Warn you to stop using it or just give you the boot?

There was a place many users used to make a personal gallery from, and it was free (I tried it and did not like it.) Then a few weeks ago, there was either a comment made on the Q&A board, or perhaps a post on the AB (cannot remember which...Ah! the infamy of getting old!), that Personal Gallery from an outside source other than Ebay was not authorized. At that point, I remember posting here that "They probably plan on starting to charge us for the one we now create"....Apparently, they DO seem to be showing an "error" when I click on "My Gallery"...
BTW: I just re-did my "About Me" page....still NO feedback showing...Yet, they show while page was under construction....BUT NOT after I saved it....Go figure....

Hmm, my about me page looks like it always does. I just have mine set to show the newest 10 feedbacks and all of my auctions. Of course, I created my own about me page so maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe the ebay templates got messed up?

I think the only stink eBay has made with regards to Personal Galleries is that you must conform to their 2 click rule. In other words, don't put an Auctiva Gallery link on your auction if you also have items listed on Yahoo. [unless they're 2 clicks away]
Bill mentioned a problem yesterday with the eBay Gallery links. My guess is the flunkies at eBay are messing with some new code again & it's causing problems with the eBay Galleries.
I use a seperate site as a Gallery, and to the best of my knowledge eBay has no problems with it. If my puter is still running later tonight [don't ask ] I'll fire off a few email to eBay reps & see what they have to say on the subject.

Thanx all, for your replies... It may be that it will all show up once the Search Engine has gathered and posted the info...who knows.....I posted this morning, and fooled around with some revosions, so that might have something to do with how long it is taking!
As to the Personal Gallery, I notice that Preacher4u, who was so kind in teaching many of us how to create our Gallery, no longer uses it...which is odd..He does, however, use something else; so, very likely, Ebay either messed up or has disabled the code
dear red...What do you mean by "Use a separate site"? Is it like Auctiva? I have an account there, but my Ebay listing is not even showing there, so I cannot even use them yet....Blast!.....Well, I'll have a decaf...that should do...something...

Yes, it's like Auctiva, but better IMHO.
I pay $5 a month to the owner. I lost my email address book in my HD switch over, so send me an E & I'll give you a link to my auctions.

Yes, I stopped using the PG for a few weeks, mainly because the quarters were starting to add up, and because the new options with auctiva and MyAuctionGallery.
But then I relized sales were dropping, so the saying "a quarter saved is a quarter earned" did not applied in here, so again I'm using it.
I too noticed that the link now lead to an error page, checked the link I had in my auction VS the results currently on eBay, and it was completely different HTTP string.
I just hope eBay does not change it again in the near future.
I also noticed that I can not revise my "about me" page, as every time I click on the "edit some more" button, I get a blank page.
I knew something was wrong with the PG when I stopped seeing on Human Click gallery pics as a referring page.

You're right: The "edit more" button on my About Me page is now GONE! What in the HHHHHHH are they doing? And I posted one re-list this morning around 10AM...Don't even know if it made it to the Postings....It sure is not on my About Me, nor are my Feedback....DARN!!!!!Oh! Well!...
You're right: You get what you pay (or don't) for. I actually don't mind the quarter to Ebay because of what I sell, but I can certainly understand that it can become quite expensive very quickly.
The way I justify it is that I used to use the BOLD feature...THAT got expensive!!!! With the Gallery, one quarter takes customer to ALL the listings. The BOLD feature still only works for ONE listing at a time. I think it's $2.00...way, way over-priced!
