I received 3 attempts of someone dumping the Snow White virus onto me yesterday alone! Starts in the header with hahahah....
Do not open the attachment. I didn't. After reading on this virus from others here in Dec. I was able to simple dump the emails and empty the trash. Then, run Housecall, to be sure. Anyone have suggestions where the spam is coming from? Outlook or Netscape related?

Empires - It's coming from ANYONE who has your email address in their address book. could be a buyer, seller, business acquaintance or relative.

This looks to be as good a place as any to ask...
I am interested in opinions regarding the various antivirus programs available. Why do you use a particular program, and what are the things you like and don't like about it?

I use Norton's SystemWorks 2001 and Norton's Personal Firewall....Excellent protection and maintenance programs! Norton's catches everything before you open it and guides you to quarantining and deleting it without worry of your system getting infected at all...PLUS the SystemWorks also includes a comprehensive maintenance package that is truly awesome.
Had McAfee before and it didn't catch anything...Even the kak worms! Worthless!
I set up my mail rules according to the instructions and haven't received the virus since and that was just over a month ago. Remember to get the spelling for Snowhite the way it is being sent.
I use Nortons Antivirus 2001 on my new system and I love it. We now use Innoculate (free download) on our other two computers and it is excellent also. We had McAfee but it didn't catch the KAK worm or Snowhite. But I'm not sure we had the latest upgrades so it may have been our fault also.
