Did something change? I only see one page of announcement listings. So researching the downtime is not possible from ebay? Maybe I'm wrong on this...

They have reformatted the announcement page. System announcements are on the right hand side...several buttons showing the current status of different systems (search, ect). At the bottom of that you can pull up the recent announcements on the system status.

amy, any chance of you posting a link to the page you describe?

The only "Announcements" page I can access has FOUR announcements on it and on no buttons...

click on 'community' and then 'overview' OR click on announcements at the very bottom of the eBay home page.

They now have a marketing announcement Board and a separate system status announcement Board

Uhm... yeah... We'll put the announcement on how to FIND the announcement board on the announcement board so people will know how to find the announcement board.

Now THAT sounds like Ebay logic to me!! *grin*

Yikes... they sure haven't made it easy to find things...

I think this is the page amy is talking about:
http://pages.ebay.com/community/index.html

This is what they're calling the System Status board, which is what used to just be called the Announcements Board:
http://www2.ebay.com/aw/announce.shtml

This is what they're calling the Marketing Announcements board:

Oh I get it now... the announcements page is dead! Oh, it's a joke ... ok! Yeah!? Now I get it. Go to the announcements board and when the link goes dead! That is the announcement. Back to your regularly scheduled downtime on ebay! Links to the site are dead with ebay announcements down at this time.
