And opened my eyes a bit!
I've read posts of people talking about a bidder asking a question on a widget not realizing that's not the only widget the seller has on auction.
Today I open my email to a question from a seller asking my husband which widget is he asking about?
I figure, duh, so I go to this seller's listings and he/she has 271!!!!!! I had to laugh though, I am now one of those official idiot bidders!!!!!! (Actually, it's my husband, but my name's on all the emails to.)

Hi, Not to worry. We all have our moments Its called life. Just look up the # for said widget. Hubby was just thinking of all the cool guy stuff, so don't be too hard on him.

I asked hubby when he came home and he said he can't remember what it was! Duh! It gave us both a good laugh though.

That's why I use the "ask the seller a question" feature even if their eBay ID includes their e-mail address. All I have to do is ask the question, and I don't worry about typing the auction info as a reference.
