I recently sold a cell phone on ebay and gave a BUY IT NOW PRICE. a ebayer used the buy it now and ended the auction. they sent me a email requesting that i send them the ESN number off the phone so that they can verify that the phone was not stolen. With this number a person can committ fraud and other things according to the service provider that the phone was with and recommending me not to send the number, i didnt. now they will not respond to emails and i feel they have no intentions on paying for the phone. also, they had no feedback for their member i.d., has anyone had any experince with this sort of thing??? guess i'll file a complaint with safe harbour and leave negative feedback and relist the item, but how can we stop the no feedbackers from ending our auctions early and what about the cell phone siutation... looking for answers........

Just relist and move on. Do not forget to file for your fees. That is the only way to give them the boot. Some days I wonder if someone forgot to lock the doors at the asylum.

It is their problem if they want the number because they should be buying the phone for its value as property. If somebody were to sell stolen property on Ebay they would not be around on Ebay very long as Ebay prohibits this http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-stolenprop.html
