It is my imagination or is eBay and its services experiencing more and more bugs recently? I'm honestly starting to wonder if the whole system is going to come to a screeching halt at some point.

I had a new one happen that was very entertaining. Checking out the 'ending today' pages and found a couple of items of interest in amongst the auctions that showed as ending in the next hour. So I click over to see more only to find that the auction had ended already. Huh? I wonder, checking the time. Then I notice that the time is right, but the date isn't. I'm trying to bid on items from the 26th of February. This happened to me twice last week. Two different days.

And is anybody getting weird "Keep Alive Cache and Proxy" crap up at the top of any pages where the ads usually are? Or am I seeing things?

Hello,

Thank you for letting us know that you had a difficult time accessing
parts of the site on March 29.

I understand how frustrating this is. However, there was not an outage,
but some people did have trouble accessing parts of the site. In
accordance with our Hard Outage policy, listing fees were not credited
and no auctions were extended, since the outage lasted less than an
hour. For more information on this policy, please visit the location
below:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/png-extn.html

This page explains the outage policy in depth, and when auctions are
extended and when fees are credited.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused you and thank
you for your continued patience and support.

Regards,

Mike M.

Speaking of bugs, it looks like I lost the last portion of my ME page? Up until sometime in the last few days I had my list of items for sale near the bottom of my page, now it's not loading? It appears as though it's been removed, but the eBay HTML is still there when I check my ME page edit?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Morning, reddeer...

I looked at your ME page. This is weird.

In Netscape, it ends at "ca. 50 BC"...nothing else below that whatsoever.

In IE, it shows the green "listings" bar...with nothing listed below...then all the eBay junk.

THERE ARE NO BUGS ON EBAY

All these problems can be attributed to the follwing:

1)User Error
2)Inexperienced USers
3)User insantiy
4)Halucinations

I had the "Me" page problem also, about 2 weeks ago...Took Ebay 4 days to answer that they were aware of the problem. It then worked for 4 days. This morning, my feedback no longer show. I do n ot have anything listed as of last night.

Thanks Toke, I only have 1 item up today [first time in years], and thought maybe that was the problem?

Shosh .... Yes, I remember your SNAFU as well. At least eBay is aware of the problem, thanks for posting that info here!
