I have been reading & posting on these threads for a few months now, but I still haven't figured out how you guys do some things.
When you quote someone from a previous post, how do you make it in italics?
And how do you make your reply in bold?
And when you include a link, how do you make it clickable?
Know any NEW smilies?

Just a matter of knowing UBB (html doesn't work here) 
To put something in italics, use <i> at the start & </i> at the end and make sure there are no sentence breaks.
To put something in bold, use <b> and </b>
To make something a clickable link, use <url> and </url>
To insert an image use <img> and </img>
BUT instead of the < > use brackets, such as [ and ]
Voila!
That's all there is to it!

There's a thread titled "Newbie How To" that I brought to the top, and it has great info. There's also a thread titled "Smilies" that was started by a moderator (it's in blue highlight) that is currently on page 3 of this board--the last post to it was on April 1.
Of course, there are the smilies that AREN'T on the AW board, but are imported from somewhere else, like.....
Without eBay, I might have a real life...

For some reason the UBB QUOTE tags don't work on AW which is a real pain. I mentioned this some time ago in the Mod's Corner (remember that?) and was told that they just don't work.  I don't know why AW has never fixed this problem - it can't be that difficult because all of the other forums I post in have working QUOTE tags.
