Hi, this is my first experience with returning something to a seller (I was dissatisfied with it, but the seller was VERY nice about it), and I want to make sure that I received the correct message from eBay.

The e-mail subject is "No Purchase eBay Confirmation," and the message states that the seller contacted eBay and said that I had "decided not to purchase this item."

Is this particular message generated when the seller says we mutually agreed to cancel the transaction, or is this by any chance an NPB e-mail (I'm quite sure the seller didn't report me for that, but I just want to make sure--what with all the eBay screwups this weekend!)

Thanks in advance for the help!
Without eBay, I might have a real life...

This isn't a Non-Paying Bidder Alert or warning. It's just a way eBay confirms what the seller told them-- that you and the seller mutually agreed not to complete the transaction. This way seller gets his fees back. No bad mark on your record.
