I know several opened an account with usabancshares.com bank sometime back for a place to deposit online payments. They'll be charging $5 a month on balances under $300.00 effective April 23.
Just a heads up for those with low balances. Either increase your balance, accept the account fees, or look for another bank. I'd always expected them raise the limit up from $1.00 so no surprise here, it was expected.

Thanks, I didn't even receive a notice from them yet! Since I keep a very low minimum balance in that account I will be closing it.
Does anyone know of any other online bank with lower fees?

usabankshares original balance limit of $1 was ridiculously low, not even Pollyanna would have expected that to remain at that level. $300 isn't bad. If you find another offering a better deal let me know, most require a lot more than $300 to avoid fees.
I'm not keen on playing musical banks, and I know an introductory offer with some new online bank is just that, an introductory offer.
Do post if you find a better deal. I'm always interested. But it has to be a bank that will take unlimited ACH transfers, free checking, and ATM/Debit card with rebates. Just those three items are my only really important needs.
