I just acquired a 6 vol set of "A History of Woman Suffrage", written by Susan B. Anthony among others.
They are first editions. The first 3 volumes were published in 1887 and the next three in later years through
1922. I searched the internet and only found one volume which was one of the later years and the asking
price was 500.00. I'm wondering what these might be worth and what I could expect to get from them on
ebay. I'm sure they are worth alot and must be very rare, not to be able to find them anywhere on the internet.
Does anyone have any idea of their value or what I should start them for. thank you for any help

Condition has a lot to do with it. I think it might be worth doing a real nice auction with a feature listing and a decent reserve. If the shape is good, I think someone would pay handsomely, well over $1000. I'd recommend starting it at $100 and the reserve at a minimum of $1500 or whatever you feel the market will bear, maybe $2000. I'm not an expert, but a full first edition set in good condition or better is usually considered a find.
