Hello everyone,

I'd like to introduce our newest member of the Mod Squad. I know you'll all help us welcome SmittyAW.

Smitty will be working with me today for several hours, and will be joining in as the Mod on duty later in the week, or early next week.

Welcome, Smitty, to the AW community!

Pat

raysir,

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. Does it have to do with AuctionWatch Services? If so, please post it in the AuctionWatch Services Forum. A Customer Care Rep there will be glad to help you.

Welcome to the fray, Smitty. Please remember, be of strong heart, and don't take ANYTHING personally.

I hope that AW Moderators take the same stress management classes that my husband does (help desk tech) because they sure do help the homelife. The hubby and I limit work talk/gripes/etc to the first 15 minutes after arriving home, then drop it.

And, of course, you'll NEVER get any complaints from me

Is Smitty new, or Marty in disguise?

Just wondering if it's a way of giving him a "new" start?

Also, is "joice" the same person as former AW poster "gailco"?

Just want to know the facts man, just the facts.

Lottsa rumors, and I like to go right to the source, so what say Pat? I find you to be an honest guy, and I'm hoping you'll enlighten us.

Thanks...

Pocono,

I could tell you, but then you know I'd need your shoe size, right? For those stylish concrete shoes you'd be wearing?

Seriously, I advise taking rumors for what they're worth...nothing, nothing at all.

Hi Smitty!
Welcome!
I have a few questions to start you off.

1. Have you seen Elvis lately, (or at all)?
2. Do you know what is housed at area 51?
3. Did you have anything to do with the face on Mars cover-up?
4. Does Santa sleep with his whiskers in or out? And last but not least.
5. What are the attributes of taciturnity?

I’ll go back to being quiet now.
Chuck

I have a couple of questions myself:

1. Is it a requirement to have a name that ends in a vowel in order to be a moderator? Marty, Joice, Michelle, Smitty?

2. If so, how did pattaylor slip through? Or is his name really patta Ylor?

Pat, you'd better have Smitty read ExecutiveGirl's threads about her wacko bidders (especially the "Why Me" thread), because otherwise he'll never understand all the references to small wrists and size 34D ears!

mcbrunnhilde:

Now that you bring that up, what is it with the small wrists? I've heard that reference several times, and just sorta laugh it off.

And, ok, you've also arousned my curiosity about the 34D ears???????????

Cin131, here's the link. Just make sure you go to the bathroom before reading it!! I really feel sorry for poor EG with all her bidder horror stories, but you can't help but laugh at some people's stupidity!
