I had a person contact me about wanting to buy an item that had ended without a bid on an Ebay auction.I thought you couldn't get the email address unless you were a seller or bidder on the item.It kind of bothered me because I thought maybe it was Ebay checking up.How can someone get your email address?Thanks for any information.

Anyone can contact anyone else on eBay -- the email just goes through eBay's servers and is sent to you as "so and so is sending you an email." They will not have your email address, though, unless you respond to them.
