I signed-up for the standard auctionwatch plan, but from what I understand I can only use them as a picture host for auction listings. I use photopoint to host pictures for my "about me" page.
I don't usually read Photopoints weekly emails, but luckly I read the new one that came today. The Photopoint fees seem reasonable, but since I'm only using them for my "me" page I don't know if I'll stay with them.
Received the following from Photopoint.
Dear Member,
PhotoPoint has dedicated its business to protecting your pictures and allowing you to share them easily with your family and friends. We thank you for making PhotoPoint the #1 online photography company.
To continue providing you the online photo experience you enjoy, we need to make several changes to our service in the coming weeks. Most significant is that, starting in mid-May, PhotoPoint.com will no longer be a free service, except for limited "trial" memberships.
For a limited time, you can join for an entire year for a one-time charge of $19.95, and we'll include 25 free prints (the prints alone are a $12 value). As a valued member, you also have the option of a special lower priced basic membership, which does not include prints, for just $9.95 for the year. These introductory offers will end April 30, 2001.

The last of my free AW photos ends today. Had been looking at Photopoint as an option but it's not too geat for auctions. The price is alright, I wish AW went with that pricing. I'm loading up my photos on Honesty this week and see how that goes.
greatlakes- unless AW changed the rules, I had been using photos hosted on AW for other than auctions. You may want to check further into this.

Nowwhat--Thanks for the suggestion. The "very easy to use" part sounds good. I'm off to check out Yahoo!
