Is there any way to get a human being capable of cognizant thought at eBay? To sum up my problem, I had an account last year with over 700 positive feedback. I had some personal problems and was late sending some packages out. Everything was resolved over 6 months ago, but I was harassed by a buyer afterwards. She e-mailed everyone who bid on any of my subsequent auctions and said she had never gotten her item, even though she had signed the certified mail receipt. I contacted eBay and told them the whole story. They couldn't do anything about it, because the e-mail address she was using to send these messages was not the one she had registered with eBay. At the suggestion of someone at eBay, I started a new seller name, and had been using it exclusively for about 5 months. Then out of the blue, eBay sends me a message that they are suspending both ids due to reports of seller nonperformance on the original id. I have been trying to appeal. I have one ebay employee I am supposed to be dealing with, and I really can't begin to tell you what a low opinion I have of her. I have e-mailed receipts for refunds and copies of mail receipts, but she keeps claiming not to have received them. Several of the people who had left negative feedback last year have contacted her to confirm that they recieved thier items late, but she is claiming not have heard from them. I even have copies of e-mails from her in which she states that one person can be crossed off the list as settled, because the buyer had contacted her, and a later e-mail from her saying that she had never heard from the buyer. I realize that I am not the only case she has, but I think it is ridiculous that I have to e-mail 9 times over 14 days before I get a response from her, and then it's only to contradict a previous e-mail she had sent. I have e-mailed Safe Harbor, Customer Support, Fraud, and a couple individual employees whose e-mail addresses I was able to obtain, but everyone is just referring it back to the same incompetent rep, and she just gets more steamed every time I try and she finds out about it. If anyone has any suggestions to straighten things out, I would love to hear them.

Hi there, sorry to hear about your problems with Ebay! I have a toll-free number that I've called before and I actually got to talk to a real person! Here is the number: 1-800-322-9266. Good luck - I hope you get it all straightened out!

This sounds horrible AND unfair.
How about making copies of all your paperwork and sending it to the CEO of ebay, and cc:'ing the local BBB. yes, it sounds drastic, but you are being treated rudely and unjust especially if you can prove that the customer received the item and signed for it.
The CEO might not answer you, but your paperwork will be passed on to someone else who will take it seriously.

Demand to have the address and names of eBays legal department to have your attorney contact. If you tell them it is beyond the point of settling without legal action they will probably actually have someone who can resolve it look at it in hopes of avoiding a legal action.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I tried th telephone numbers, but got a recording that said their business hours were xam to xpm Monday through Friday. I will try again tomorrow, and if I can't get anywhere with that, I will let you know, and try to send everything to the CEO.
