I along with the hordes of others like to list on Sunday evening, but next Sunday is Easter. I imagine bidding will be down, and last minute bidders won't be around too much. Any suggestions? 5 day list, 10 day list, bidding won't be any worse than what it is now. What is the AW user concensus? Thanks.

I've often had my auctions ending on holidays & had some of my best sales days.
Not everyone celebrates Easter & among those who do, I try to keep in mind that by the late afternoon, the kids are all on a sugar high, there's no football to watch on tv, everyone's sick of the relatives & looking for a place to get away.

I am listing but I am not going nuts. More people will be more concerned about Tax day and getting them finished then Easter Sunday but they both fall on the weekend at least what needs to be done so even though I think it will still be good it won't be as busy.

I agree - I think Easter combined with Income Tax Due Date isn't really good, and I don't plan to do a great deal. We will generally rely on web sales during this time - if the folks want to buy it is out there, but I'm not going to rush to pay eBay fees for what I feel may be a slow period...I figure many folks are out of town and away from their computers even if they wanted to compute and the rest are struggling over taxes.

From late Jan until early April most retail stores fairly quiet. Ebay should follow this pattern too. The only reason why it gets busy is because of Mothers and Father's day.
I'd wait until the end of the month because college students will be getting money back when they sell their books and they will get jobs and paychecks by then. Many of them will go online in early May to buy things like mp3 players, camping gear, sports equipment. Things that will not sell well starting in May will include computers, textbooks.
Items that should sell well starting late Aug and Early Sept will be cheap electronics, office supplies, school supplies. Slightly used computer products will sell well as college students either need cheap computers or they want to upgrade their current computer and therefore need parts.
I know that I don't use Ebay from late April to early Sept because I would rather be outside enjoying the weather.
