Over the past month or so I have been running some one cent auctions on some items that I didn't have a lot invested in. The ending bids have been great on most items, but some still end for a penny.
One guy who won an item for a penny paid with PayPal and included an extra 99 cents. He said it would help cover my listing costs and packing materials. I offered to give it back but he insisted that I keep it.
Another woman won an item and immediately e-mailed me saying she would understand if I didn't want to sell at the one cent ending bid. A sale is a sale so, of course, I followed through.
There are still nice buyers out there, they are sometimes just a little harder to find.
How right you are! There are many nice eBayers in the crowd...They make it a little easier to get through the day(and they make the deadbeats seem not quite as bad)!
