Hi gang,
The spring cleaning bug has hit my house and I have a ton of CDs I would like to post on either E-bay or Half. The one thing I am concerned about is selling a CD and having someone claim it doesn't work/is damaged, etc., and when it's returned realizing its not the same CD. Is there a way to mark the CDs so that I can tell that they're "mine" without damaging them or lowering value? Also, would you post that the CDs are somehow protected in the ad?
I plan on testing the CDs to make sure they all play well and checking for no visible scratches, etc. BUT there is always someone somewhere looking to get somethin' for nothin'

Stick invisible tape on the cd cover on the inside where it isn't visible. Only stick a small piece to make it less noticeable.

I have sold more CDs than probably anyone on eBay, and I am not aware of any positive circumstance where this 'switch' has happened to me. I've had CDs returned to me cracked or scratched, but that can happen in the mail.
I think you'll find your CD customers savvy enough to realize it's not worth their time to play these kinds of games.

If you want to go to the trouble, get an "invisible" pen - you can buy them on ebay. Their markings are only visible under ultraviolet or black light. In your EOA, you can note that returns are only accepted if they have your special sellers mark on them.

redskinedfan, wait a minute...... you're obviously too innocent to know how a criminal mind works. They'd switch the CD, not the case.
