I know I know - we should have asked questions first, but for some reason I can't get that through my husband's thick skull!

I purchased an exact item I sold last year about this time and the seller is trying to charge me more than double what it costs to ship the item.

They haven't gotten a single feedback for selling, and after checking it seems we are among the first of his customers.

I've emailed politely asking if perhaps he might have made a mistake and that I've shipped the exact same item myself to the exact same zone he's in for less than have his quote, even taking into account the postage increases.

I WILL PAY WHAT HE'S QUOTING IF I HAVE TO, BUT NO ONE SAID I HAD TO LIKE IT!

I know I know - ask questions first!

Thanx for letting me vent.

PS - If you're gonna screw me at least have the decency to kiss me first.

What were the shipping terms you agreed to when bidding?

The 'ole buyer pays exact shipping charges!

Problem is - hubby gets too excited when he sees a good deal and this item had a 7 word description, I mean how pathetic is that.

I know I'm stuck paying $20 to ship something that should only cost $8.35, but thems the breaks as they say.

Tell hubby that you will remove keyboard and you will not let him play in the sandbox if he does not smarten up. That will teach him.

This is exactly why I don't allow my husband to Ebay unsupervised.

Boy, can I relate to this!

After accumulating about 1500 "real photo" postcards, I had to take his Ebay privileges away!

He's lucky he's cute!

Well Well Well, it seems I'm not the only one. A previous high bidder of mine, recognized my userid from a past transaction and emailed me and asked about this guy.

He had taken a whole week to get us our shipping costs and then charged us both the exact amount for very different sized items!

He said he was going to email him as well, sounds like our seller has a bit of a problem when it comes to figuring out "exact shipping".

Also, if he's wanting to charge $20 flat fee on everthing, me thinks it should be in the description. JMHO
