Have been lurking for the past couple of day, since I found this forum. Looks like a great resource for all auction community members. This is my first post and hope those wiser than I can offer some suggestions. After this auction I send my EOA notice. The buyer responded within 24 hours to let me know he lives in Hong Kong. Please let him of the shipping costs, etc. I have been trying to respond for the past few days but my reply gets bounced for fatal errors in the address. Have used both the email address ebay has on file and a reply to the message he sent me. This is a $10.00 item and don’t what to try to phone the guy. The long distance charges would be more than the item.
Any ideas you can offer both realistic and off the wall would be appreciated.
Me too! Sold an item Sunday night to a buyer in London with 0 feedback (uh oh). She emailed right away--what are the charges, here's my address, etc., actually beat me to it. I emailed back with incorrect information, then emailed with correct information twice (each time replying to her email so of course the address was the one she'd given.) She emails me yesterday (Wed.) that she hasn't gotten any reply to her request for information from me. I go to safe harbor and request contact information. They have my name, phone number, user name, and email address on the form and for her they have her user name and phone number only--no email address!
I have to assume that whoever is letting her use their email isn't giving her my messages. So now what do I do? I suppose she may be away for the weekend. . . . Very frustrating.

Add me to the list with a buyer in England. She sent cash in the mail, but with postage to cover shipping in the US, only. Got her to respond, shes like--send it with just the amount enclosed, she would pay the difference when it got there.
If that isn't problem enough, I've told her at least 6 times now I need her address! She sent it only once inside the letter she mailed, and it was glued inside the envelope and tore when it opened...I can't read it. She just won't respond.
