If anyone out there has a copy of the 2.07 zip file that they can send me or direct me where to download I would REALLY appreciate it. I stupidly did not keep the file, and now the fix that Invenna has released STUPIDLY requires you to have the program installed on your C: drive or "upgrade to 3.0". Well since 3.0 is a hunk of junk, I am not doing that! I have at least one auction that was BIN'd that I can't work with in Amigo because of eBay's wonderful, sudden My Ebay makeover. GRRRRRR!
Any help is GREATLY welcome!
Thanks!

I don't have a 2.07 zip file but I do have the previous one (2.03?) plus the update file to 2.07 - will that do?
If you'd like me to email them to youm send me your email address at

Thanks for the offer, but I got it fixed.
I should have looked before I typed! All I had to do was copy the files it unzipped onto C: into my IAM folder on D:
They could have just said that instead of making it sound like you were SOL if it wasn't installed on C:

Hi, I was just wondering what you didn't like about AuctionAmigo 3.0. I am using it and absolutely love the improvements over 2.0. I'll admit there are a few things that I would have done differently. These are, however, the exact things addressed on the Announcement Board due out in a service pack very soon.

Well, the top two things are:
No inventory feature
and
Packing lists are generated in HTML, so I can't open in Word to create a mailing label anymore
I have other complaints about the lousy interface, but those are minor compared to the above.
Once they get some of the bugs worked out I will look at 3.0 again. But I won't use it until the inventory feature is included (enterprise version) and I hope they will change the packing list format back to the way it is in 2.0

Oh, I see. I thought maybe there was something I was not aware of going on with 3.0. The inventory feature is not an issue for me because I use Quickbooks. I actually like the new packing list feature because it can now be customized. Thanks for replying.

I just did the upgrade to 3, but now when I try to run AAPro it asks me for a password before it runs! Tried my eBay pw but it didn't work. I've written to Invenna support but I thought I'd see if anyone else had run into this. I don't remember being asked to create a password anywhere in the install process!
LOL... never mind, I tried my eBay PW again and it worked - I must have typoed it the first two times - ah well, it's early and I'm not quite awake.

The password field was in the 3.0 New User Wizard. I too used my eBay password not realizing it would later ask for each time I opened the program. You can have it automatically filled in by going to Tools, Options, User Info tab, check the box next to Fill in my password automatically in login screen.

The pasword window is used to select the eBay user id you wish to use for that session if you have more than one eBay id.

thank you, sandvet for the comment about the pasword feature...
having to fill it out every darn time was making me loopy!
If anyone's interested, I just found out (after a little digging) that the Task Manager feature for your BIDDING will be added/fixed sometime in May...
right now I'm doing my bidding management on 2.07 still, and it's a pain...

Hey, no problem, debtrek. I've been playing with this program non stop since I downloaded it. I've been able to get it to do everything I need for it to do. And, like I mentioned earlier, the things I can't get it to do now will be available in the Service Pack. They just announced that it will be available Monday evening. I honestly do like 3.0 better.

well, so far I want inventory, the ability to delete auctions from the database and task management for my bids...
the first two should be in Monday's service pack, right?

Well, my Amigo is hosed again. eBay mucked around with the My Ebay appearance and now I again cannot update my auctions. It shows the bids but not the current price. I hope Invenna can fix it once more before Tuesday morning when all my auctions end......
Why can't eBay leave well enough alone on a friggin weekend?!?

magik87...
there's a patch for both 2.0 and 3.0 on the Ivenna site that covers the MyEbay changes...
but you'll have to LOOK for it...took me a minute to find it....
Isn't this FUN?!?

debtrek -
Unfortunately, it is the changes to the changes to My eBay that has broken my patched 2.09 Amigo. I was able to update this morning, but this evening when I tried it wouldn't read the correct bid prices. When I went to My eBay to check on the auctions, I saw that the format was changed again, so I knew what had happened. I just wish eBay would warn people instead of "surprising" us with these "little improvements"!
Thanks for trying to help though.

Yes, it does appear we need a newer patch for yet a newer version of the My eBay Page. I doubt if we'll see the patch over the holiday weekend though. This will surely further delay the much needed changes due out in Service Pack v3.10 also.
Oh well, Happy Easter to you! Enjoy the great holiday!

magik87...
AND
sandvet...
You'll be happy to hear that there's a new set of protocols(patch) for Amigo...
I took a chance just now after listing a bunch of auctions and tried to "update"...
I got the little box telling me that there was a new set of protocols...
and
VOILA!
I'm now back to where I was after the first MyEbay change!
Now cross your fingers for Monday's Service Pack!
