For the past couple of days it has been almost IMPOSSIBLE for me to get access to these boards....Cleared cache, rebooted sometimes it works, sometimes not....I can get to the home page, but NOT to the boards or to login....It loads to about 39%, then I get a blank screen where all the topics or board names should be....I'm ready to have my resident computer tech (read: husband) rip my pc apart, before I do, I'd really like to know if I am the only one having this problem....Anyone else????.....

Thanx....

I've been having the exact same problem, Rancher. The partial loading, then just white screen below the toolbar. Started late last night and continued to today. The only way I could get in at first today was to go to the home page, then work my way to the message center, then eBay Outlook. Once I got in, though, the problem seemed to stop (maybe it has to do with cookies). But it has been a pain in the ass.

I had the same problem last night. I cleared the cache, rebooted, defragged, and finally got in. No problems so far today on either computer I've used.

I started having this problem last week. I started a thread at that time but no one else had the problem. If I just let it hang I will eventually get the full screen. Very sporadic problem though.

I've had the problem for a couple of days as well - nothing but blank white below the tabs on the top. This has not happened before. Any ideas?

Hello everybody,

We apologize for missing this thread.

We are aware of this problem, however, we have not been able to duplicate it here. It appears that about 99% of the users experiencing this are AOL users - we believe the problem to be related to the AOL/CompuServe proxy server system.

We have reports from many users who were experiencing this, and they have reported that the issue has cleared up for them spontaneously. We recommend clearing your cache then logging off of AOL, closing your browser, and reconnecting. You might have to do this several times.

Unfortunately, I am aware of no other workaround at this point, but please be assured that we will continue to investigate this.

Regards,

Diana

Diana...appreciate your response...I am an AOLer & it does appear to have gotten better (at least for me) this afternoon/tonight. FYI, clearing cache, logging off, closing brower, even rebooting did not clear up the problem. Matter of fact after having done that several times this morning, access was still a problem. Cleared up by itself with AW still in cache, this afternoon. Hopefully that will be the last of it!
