Here is my problem. I bid and won a widget on 3/19. Unfortunately the bidding rush took over me and I didn't notice that the seller was a newbie with NO feedback what so ever. On 3/23 he asked for my address so that he could figure shipping costs and ask that I hurry so that this could be completed. Within 30 minutes of his email I sent back the information and asked how he excepts payment as that was not in his auction. He replied with check, money order or he was open for suggestions. I told him I would send a money order if he would tell me where to send it. All of this on the 23rd. I have NOT heard back from this person yet. Although, he is the one who wanted to rush. I have sent him 2 emails again requesting this info. Now here are my 2 major concerns:
1: His emails lead me to believe that this is a kid and maybe not a real auction. So I am leary about sending him the $60+ dollars.
2. This was a gift for my son's birthday and now have no idea whether I will get it.

I have pretty much decided I don't want to deal with this guy because of all of the strangeness.

Any suggestions ANYBODY??? Please?? Thanks in advance! Oreo

This auction ended over a month ago, according to your post.

I suggest you look for the item elsewhere. You don't know where to send the money, and even if you did, how confident are you that you would ever get this item?

Consider yourself lucky and move on.

That is what I want to do but should I email this person and tell them that I am no longer interested? I will probably get negged for sure. Oreo

Would you feel better about the neg you might get if you lost the $60?

No and you are absolutely right! It's just that I have this firm belief If ya don't want it don't bid! And I have over 115 positive feedbacks that testify that I believe that! No negs at all and it makes me ill.

Thanks for your responses guys I appreciate it a lot! Oreo

I don't think you have anything to worry about here.

Auction ended a month ago and the seller has still not given his address so you could make payment? Not your fault at all.

Seller deserves a neg for this IMO.

Emailed seller twice for payment address, no response 1 month after auction close

I don't think the 0 feedback should have scared you off, though. More like the lack of direction about how the seller wanted to be paid...
