I started confirming all packages about 2 months ago. Since then, nonthing has gone "missing"...Prior to using the confirmations I had about 2-3 items a month just "vanish". Kinda makes ya think maybe some folks are dishonest...nahh..the USPS must have just gotten better LOL!

I started using Delivery Confirmation about a year ago. Not one missing package. A well invested 40 cents!
Is it the bidder dishonesty? postal workers? USPS grabbing the unconfirmed/uninsured packages for USPS auctions on eBay?
DEFINITELY makes me wonder!

Hi,
I've been selling for 3 years and not one(knock wood)package has gone missing or disappeared.
I'm wondering if it could be the area you ship from that could be causing the problem?
We all use the same service it just makes me wonder why some have a lot more problems then others.
It would be interesting to take a survey on what you sell and where you ship from to see if there is any correlation to it.
I ship from central Iowa and sell Vintage-Collectables.

Ditto to what packer just said. I've been selling online for close to 5 years, and never had a parcel go MIA. The fact that I live in Canada would make it MUCH easier for a buyer to cry FOUL, yet it's never happened.

I was getting what I felt was more than a normal amount of winning bidders writing me stating they didn’t receive their merchandise. I always use Delivery Confirmation on larger more expensive items but now I’m putting them on just about everything I sell.
Funny but all of a ever since starting this new practice, not one single item has come up missing. Not one! Post Office ???? Postal Workers??? Or is it dishonest customers???? We’ll never know

Hiya Packer ........ I've found over the years that the problems seem to be more what one sells, than anything else. Most of my buyers seem to be pretty serious collectors.
Now I've really done it! I'm getting the hell off this thread!
