I'm very frustrated and I'm not technically knowledgeable, so I'm throwing this question out to you all for a possible explanation.

When I do a search on eBay for, say, brass bracelets, and the listing comes up with thumbnails to the left of the listings, my computer freezes when I start to scroll down the list and I have to reboot (and get chewed out for improperly shutting it down). It freezes when a thumbnail is at the bottom of the screen, and when it freezes, a second thumbnail of the same item appears directly under the first and overlaps it.

What is going on? What can I do to stop it?!?

Sorry for my delay in responding; I was at lunch!

My computer is at my office. It's a Power Mac G3 (I edit a college alumni magazine). It's about six years old, with a Macintosh operating system, Internet Explorer browser and Rockbridge Global Village ISP (Lexington, Virginia).

Thanks!
