PLEASE HELP

I am not registered with BidPay. Although, many of my winners pay me using that service. I ship when the money order arrives in my hands.

While I have this winner, a real winner. He used BidPay and not only wants it shipped to a different address then the BidPay says but wants it sent immediately aff the approved confirmation of BidPay. He is in college and moving in 12 days.

I emailed him and told him:
Hold on! There is a problem. You are asking it to be sent to a different address in this email then the one BidPay says I have to send it to. I have to send it to the BidPay address. Not this one.

His responds:
The one on bidpay is my home address, the one my credit card is listed under.
I am currently at Bradley University in Peoria, and I need the item sent
here, or I don't even need the damn thing.

I emailed BidPay on 5/4 11:38 PM. I have heard nothing from them.

I emailed him:
This is what the BidPay says
If the buyer has requested that the item be sent to any address other than
the one provided above, please do not ship and notify us immediately.FRAUD
ALERT! Lately there have been a large number of attempts to purchase items
from eBAY sellers and (cnahge the address for delivery) to have them
delivered to an address in INDONESIA. If you get any such request PLEASE DO
NOT SHIP THE ITEM and please send an email message to us IMMEDIATELY.

I did not choose to you BidPay. You did. Now you want me to not follow
their rules. I understand your situation. But I am not sure what to do.

Now his responds:
Frankly you are a moron, and I will never purchase another item over ebay
from you. i have no need for this item at my home address of XXXXXX. I need it in XXX. I just gave bidpay my billing
address, I don't know why this is so diffucult for you to understand. This
isn't fraud, I just am not currently living at home, I can't beleive that you
would be this diffucult. Here is the directory of the college and my name
listing XXXXXX

Please give me your advice. I know this will be my first neg out of over 1000 FB.

How much $$$ are we talking about?

Either way you'll most likely get a neg from the tone of your high bidders email.

I kinda doubt I'd proceed with a transaction where the high bidder just called me a moron.

WEll there are curcumtances where it is ok to send to another address.

Im not saying this is one of them but the reason sounds logical, there additude sounds like they are tired of running into the same problem over and over.

the warning are mainly due to international credit card fraud if you already received the second notice from bidpay it mean the persons credit card has already cleared and the money order is in the mail.

I posted this in another thread earlier:

I once had a buyer from Venezuela who paid with Bidpay, and in the emails you get from Bidpay, they tell you NOT to ship to any address except the one THEY provide without oking it with them. The Gentleman wanted his stuff shipped to Miami to save on shipping, and he would pick it up when he came up on his monthy trips.

I emailed Bidpay, and explained what I thought was the deal (the buyer really was simply wanting to save on shipping), and VERY quickly (about 2 hours later, which blew my mind) got an answer from bidpay that this customer had a long history with them, and was rated five stars in their book, and to feel free to send it ANYWHERE he asked me to.

Maybe I got my answer from bidpay so quick cuz' I had a High Roller, and they already know he did this???

I had a similar situation with BidPay. The buyer lived in Antigua and wanted the item shipped to the Bronx NY ( probably to keep shipping low). I asked BidPay about and they took a month to get back to me, with the following:

This is a low risk item so we don't have any objections. We have placed a
note on the customers account and asked that they verify the cardholder
information before we will allow them to place any additional orders.

I would like to thank you for pointing it out.

I mailed it on 4/9 to the NY address, and it was returned to me today, with 'unclaimed' stamped on it....go figure!!!!!
