If sellers have the option of blocking bids than why oughtn't bidders have the option of blocking listings?
Suppose, as a buyer, you never bid on reserve auctions? Or dutch auctions? Or auctions listed by sellers with a recent string of non positive feedback? Or sellers with a particular ISP or domain name? Or sellers who have a history of ending auctions early? Or auctions that do not contain a picture of the item? Or auctions that require only certain forms of payment? Or auctions that stipulate no shipping to your neck of the woods?
As a buyer, would you like to have the ability to specify criteria that could be used to filter out auction listings from your searches so that you needn't waste time viewing such auctions (only to find out that you won't be bidding)?

If it was available, I would definitely use the option to block reserve auctions.
I can't come up with any scenario where a buyer or seller would want to block an ISP.
I loathe AOL and all their underhanded tactics of blocking Earthlink email, Democratic websites, etc. but the vast majority of their users are legitimate buyers and sellers so I can't see any point in an option to block ISPs.
Unless you mean in conjunction with another blocking option. I might want to block all AOLers with 0 feedback, but allow Hotmail accounts with 0 feedback because eBay requires verification for Hotmail accounts.
