then all you have to do is put a link from your auction to your storefront so everyone can find your storefront, then ebay can kill all your auctions with links.

doesn't sound too great to me

Too bad E-bay won't allow Auction Watch storelinks on listings after May 31st. If I was Auction Watch I would get into the auction business and give E-bay some seriuos competition. You have a large enough audience to get a good start, I know I would list merchandise on an Auction Watch auction site.
I have no interest in you fixed price stores, unless E-bay changes their new policy, which they won't. Start an Auction site!!!, E-bay has done everything possible to hurt Auction Watch, its time to get even.

I was under the impression that the link was allowed if when you click once only auctions listed on eBay would show up. Then if clicking again would bring up other/fixed price items, then this would be OK, within eBay guidelines. Is this true or not true? I find you can learn alot from these boards, but then there are times when you don't know who to believe. It would be nice to have the "correct" info on this.

please show me 3.5 million vistors . I think for that many people a little proof would be good. Remember the web malls they use to get amazing amounts of hit's. But people came to find out that hit's mean nothing. Store fronts in web malls and storefronts threw auctions site DO NOT HAVE CROSS BUYING . People do not cross over to another store in the web malls , and they have amazing hit's . What would make AW any different

NOTHING STATED ABOUT 3.5 MILLION VISTORS AT ALL IN THAT LINK PROVIDED

AGAIN WERE ARE YOU PULLING THIS INFO FROM 3.5 MILLION VISTORS

AS I STATED BEFORE WEB MALLS HAD AMAZING HITS PER DAY AND NO CROSS TRAFFIC FROM ONE RETAIL STOREFRONT TO ANOTHER ...AND THAT'S WHY MOST CLOSED ...NO CROSS TRAFFIC.. SO I GIVE YOU TWO QUESTIONS TO ANSWER

1) WERE ARE YOU GETTING YOUR INFO FROM 3.5 MILLION

2) IF A WEB MALL HAD 4.5 MILLION A DAY HITS AND NO CROSS TRAFFIC FROM ONE WEB STORE FRONT TO ANOTHER WHAT MAKES THIS WORK???

My web site gets 24 hits per day. That is because I have asked another site to check that it is working every hour.

Well it says
"Over 100,000 searches completed a day"
so for 3.5M/mo. that puts the average number of searches per visitor under 1.

AND THERE WE GO NO CROSS TRAFFIC AT ..LESS THEN I SEARCH PER PERSON..

NOW THE NEXT QUESTION

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU PERSONALLY USED AW SEARCH ENGINE IN A MOUTH..

BE HONEST

YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU MORE THEN LIKLY USE IT A BIT AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER STOREFRONT OWNERS..TRUTHFULLY YOUR NOT GOING TO BUY AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BUY ...YOUR JUST LOOKING...SO SEE WHAT OTHER HAVE

I use AW search on a daily basis. There is one item I am looking for to complete a set. When I get my set then I can retire!

Hmmm...

3.5 million...that is some assertive optimism, yes?

Just started using AW search again...hadn't used it since the days of the old BiddersEdge.....

It sure has improved markedly...

Although the storefronts could use a little layout and cosmetic work, I think for some they may offer a viable alternative to the auctions. However, having the fixed price items dead last in the search results often leaves me thumbing to the next page without looking at them...

Overall, I think AW US has some really strong features...they seem to making the best of their arrangement with eBay....

I think I'll be using it more in the future...now, if AW could come up with some of the feedback tools to analyze sellers that are available elsewhere on the net....*G*

The question has to be asked ???

have you purchased from a store front. I still believe that there is very little cross traffic.

REMEMBER THEY WILL COUNT A HIT WHEN A CUSTOMER COMES FROM EBAY INTO A STORE FRONT
I believe that hits TO THE AW store fronts will drop even more. When the links are not only removed but put deeper into sellers web sites

And again i maintain that there is very little cross traffic from my store front to another.

Search on ebay for a product , go into an auction on ebay , slip a peak at there store front on AW and move on back to ebay.

And all the time AW gets the hints to there store fronts from piggy backing off ebay.

Sure there may be hits maybe even a lot ,, but are they buying and are they looking around. I think they are in and they are out and the whole time AW can say LOOK AT ALL THE TRAFFIC WE GET" .

Isn't this thread SPAM ? AW advertising should be on the AW board !

I bet they're counting every hit a picture gets from being displayed on an auction site. That would make more sense when trying to reach that absurd number.
