this is not exaggerating. Seeing the incessant flickering at the edge of mu visual field makes me intensely nauseous!

Please tell that advertiser that making potential customers dash for the bathrooms to vomit is NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS!

What jittery ad?

One of the posters on this board recommended adsubtract a while ago.

I tried it. I LOVE it.

I decided to try it specifically BECAUSE of that jittery ad. Perhaps we should let the OTHER advertisers know that this one ad is causing folks to zap all of the ads.

I hardly ever click on a banner add, but I had one annoying blinking ad on my webserver's filemanager that was formated like a window box, complete with the little X in the top corner. I tryed to close it. Now I think it's even more annoying.

Oh, the escape key thing is WONDERFUL. Thanks!

Anyone else question the wisdom of eBay running ads for gambling on a site that is so heavily travelled by kids?!? When I first saw the casino ad, my first thought was "Man, they're really desperate, aren't they (eBay, that is). Blech.

Just noticed, pushing the ESC button before the page downloads will stop the download. Still, I love it!

"Hit your esc key, it stops the animation"

Thanks.

Islander

You are correct, you do have to let the page download first-hitting the esc key is equivalent to clicking the stop button on your browser.

Hope this helps.
