Question - I know the policy of no website links goes into effect on 5/31/2001. Can anyone tell me if this is for any active auctions or only auctions launched after that date.

Also, if I have a link from the view item page, the link cannot be a page to offer things for sale. However, if I read it correctly, I am allow to put on that linked page (not the view item page) a link to my website which can offer things for sale. Am I correct?

sounds accurate to me...Ebay's attempt to restrict free trade for the sellers is very very bad for Ebay's PR. After all if they want us to list more on their site then stop raising the prices and support the sellers more. Punishing us for having the ability to support a website 'storefront' for sales is very legally questionable act and the restriction will cause loopholes to be used to the maximum as you said I can link to my about me page which has my favorite link...to my website for more of what I sell.

Ebay seems to be kicking themselves in the teeth lately with their greed.
