I listed 11 auctions on Monday, 6 different categories, low starting bids.

NO Bids, not one bid yet and not many looking.

You all warned about the holiday week....next time I will listen, I promise.

Is anyone else doing better this week?

I listed a bunch on Tuesday. Both of my BIN items went quick, others have good bids.
I guess it depends what you sell.

I'm the one who always lists on holidays. Have to admit..it's been slower than usual this week. I only listed about 30 items, 4 have already sold & slowly...very slowly bids are coming on on others.

But...my bidders are mainly "last minute" folks, so hopefully it will pick up.

I am gonna list about 100 auctions tonight. I went to an awesome auction and spent every penny I had (Incl. rent.) so I have to list and pray hard that some sell. I put BIN numbers on them and hope that they will sell that way. I wasn't planning on listing but found some great items from a store that was closing out.
Good luck to all.

Doing OK here. I tried to not end auctions this weekend.

I've got several bids and some bidding wars. I listed some new things yesterday and this morning and have a few bids on those already.

Mine are doing fine. I had some early bids and with it supposing not to be good weather here in the east coast this weekend I am expecting that they will all end fine.

Half.com is slow for me this week though but my website has more orders than usual.

MY Sales dropped off Just like last year did great up till Easter then they fell off.

but sales are still holding there own.

I only sell one type of Item I went looking thourgh catagories on ebay yesrerday and it looks like it really depends on what your selling because bidding is very healthy for many on ebay.

US Sales are slow this time of year but internaltional buying is up.

I've been dwindling in sales this entire month, wondering what is up! Trying several different tactics I have read on boards, i.e. REMOVING SUPER SELLER LOGO, and listing fixed shipping amounts in auction text as opposed to "actual shipping". It picked up for a few days and then sllllllooooooooowwwww again.

Dman3, you mentioned the time of year being slow... When did it pick up again last year? Any anticipations on this year? Last year in April was when I started selling, but only a little bit and I picked up through the year doing AWESOME till about the last month or so... Any ideas are welcome!

Thanks all...
Angie

15 auctions with 12 bids good enough to keep at this point, that means i don't have to shill this week. i have always had good luck before during and after all holidays..

I have about 6 auctions listed - all have bids.

In the video industry, summer holidays with bad weather were very good for business. I would hope it is the same for eBay, the rain keeping everyone indoors and on their computers.

Memorial Day usually means bad weather around here.

BUT I live in a town where everyone grows up and moves away so holidays triple the amount of people here. MANY people are "from" here. There actually are communities of Johnstown people in MD, FLA, and other states. Kinda like a home away from home.
