I just put up a single auction last night - no problem there but it has a "strange" bid on it.
Maybe everything is okay but i'd be grateful for your opinions.
The bidder has a feedback rating of +2 having bought items in June & September 2000. As far as I can tell he/she has not bidded on anything up untill my auction.
I don't want to make presumptions about the bidder as maybe i'm just being paranoid. I do feel uneasy though. What would you think?

Here's what I would do.......
First cancel the bid.
Then notify the bidder of my auction.
I would be more than happy with him!
(right now, ANY bid is a good bid)
Seriously, I'm sure it will be fine. We have had many weird things happen in the last 3 years on ebay. The more that you try to figure it out, the stranger it gets!
I would be more than nice to them right now. Send an exra personal email thanking them for the bid. Make them feel special.
(you are realy pretty lucky, your bidder could be gone on vacation like all of our bidders must be.......)

You're both right, it's good to get a bid!
Now i've stopped being silly i'm quite chuffed (which I should have been in the 1st place ) I think I will e-mail the bidder and thank him/her fot their bid - good advice & thanks!
