Does anybody know a good site for researching old beer cans? I just bought a big lot of them (at least 100 and a few bottles). Can you clean the ones that are rusty?

Please don't tell my mom about this...

Maybe list them by the town the brewery is in.

Cone top beer cans are quite collectible. later ones, not so much unless unusual.

You could try the recycle depot if all else fails, they'll give you 5 cents each for them!

Yikes, that sucks!

Maybe its different between Canada and the US, we get 5 cents for every can and bottle we take to the recycle, mind you we have to pay 10 cents above the drink price for the bottle in the first place so it's not that good a deal!

Just as a side note we get .05 per can here in Oregon too. We pay a .05 deposit per can. :0)
