Someone posted here several months ago how to get stamps.com to stop billing once you cancelled.

We cancelled last January - sent 14 e-mails and they keep billing and this month's bank statement says $47 instead of the $15 they are supposed to charge.

They owe us a refund of over $100 and continue to bill - help -

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET THIS RESOLVED????

Have you tried disputing the charges with your bank or credit card? If you can't get stamps.com to reply that might be the best next step. Also I think I would send stamps a letter via registered mail demanding that they cancel and pay back what they owe you.

Good luck! :0)
Hopefully someone has dealt with them and has more advice too.

Call your bank and cancel their draft privileges.

And never, never again use a bank account in this manner. Use a credit card. You have better protection and it's much easier to put a stop to these kinds of recurring charges.

Many, many people learned this lessen with AOL a few years ago.

I recently have had problems contacting them also. I found this number will get you a real live customer support person:

1-888-434-0055

Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. Nothing yet resolved. The 888 # refers me to the online -I try to hit another button or hold for a live person but so far haven't been able to talk to anyone.

Hi! Try this # 972-312-7575. It's not toll free, but you may actually get to talk with someone if you can't get thru on the other line. Stamps.com makes it hard to contact them "live".

Did you use this page on their website to cancel?

http://www.stamps.com/account/cancel/

It was sent in an email I received when I had trouble with my closed account.

I'd contact your bank as was suggested and cancel Stamps.com draft privileges.

We never received a prorated refund of the monthly fee. They charged us for a full month usage when we cancelled 2-3 days into the new cycle. We were using a CC, but was tired of dealing with them and just let it go when the billing stopped the next month. Anyway, once we get moved into our new residence we don't plan to use them again. Going to try out Endicia (sp?).

Good luck!
